TreeMobile

TreeMobile delivers and plants food-bearing trees, shrubs, and other perennials to improve local food security, reduce food miles, reforest urban communities, and create delicious food.  TreeMobile has its own website here, which functions as the TreeMobile online store in winter and early spring.

EcoFair TORONTO

With partners Green Neighbours Network, Transition Toronto organizes and hosts EcoFair Toronto annually.  EcoFair Toronto is the largest volunteer-run EcoFair in Toronto, having hosted thousands of attendees.  The EcoFair features exhibitors, workshops, interactive activities, and films that educate attendees on options for more sustainable living.  

Food Up Front

Food Up Front provides seeds and education to help new gardeners grow successfully. The project also educates novice and experienced gardeners on seed saving. Saving seeds is an essential resilience and sustainability skill, so please be in touch if you’re interested in expanding your gardening or seed saving skills.

COMMUNITY ENERGY DECARBONIZATION

Transition Toronto’s community energy decarbonization team works with Toronto neighbourhoods to support decarbonization of local energy consumption. The group’s primary focus is currently district thermal energy networks and working to retrofit a neighbourhood to make low-carbon heat available as an alternative to natural gas.
