The Transition Towns movement is a movement of communities coming together to reimagine and rebuild our world.  The rebuilding begins by addressing the big challenges at the local level.  Through the Transition Network, Transition Towns are able to crowdsource solutions for the energy, resource, environmental, and economic problems their communities face.  There are thousands of Transition Towns groups in over 50 countries.

The "Transition Emerging" study focuses on Transition Towns in Canada and provides a map of the dozens of Transition groups in Canada.
